STOCKINGS WITH CARE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Rosalie Joseph co-founded Stockings with Care in 1992 and has served as Co-President for the past 25 years. In her professional life, Rosalie is an independent Casting Director for TV, film and theatre. She was formerly Vice President of Casting for ABC and Director of Casting for CBS. In other volunteer work, Rosalie has been active in her downtown community, Battery Park City, where she co-founded BPC Community Response Team, BPC Cares, and the BPC Neighbors Network. She has also been an organizer for numerous events and gatherings to support and nurture community in BPC. She serves as Board Member to the Casting Society of America and plays an active role in their diversity and inclusion projects.

Tom Fontana has written and produced such ground breaking television series as St. Elsewhere, Homicide: Life On The Street, Oz and The Philanthropist. Currently, he is filming Borgia in Prague. He has received, among others, three Emmy Awards, four Peabody Awards, three Writers’ Guild Awards, four Television Critics Association Awards, the Cable Ace Award, the Humanitas Prize, a Special Edgar and the first prize at the Cinema Tout Ecran Festival in Geneva. Fontana serves on the boards of Stockings with Care, The WGAE Foundation, The NYPD Police Museum, DEAL, The Creative Coalition, The Acting Company, The Williamstown Theatre Festival and Center for Creative Voices in Media.

Kate Fitzgerald has volunteered with Stockings with Care since its inception and has served as a board member since 2007 and as Vice President since 2014. In a professional capacity, she has worked with the Nathan Cummings Foundation, The For All Kids Foundation and the Wildlife Conservation Society. At WCS she spearheaded the One Percent for Culture campaign to support funding for culture and arts in New York City and the 96 Elephants campaign to save elephants from extinction. Kate has contributed to various volunteer efforts throughout the years, including Coney Recovers in regard to the effects of Hurricane Sandy. Kate currently enjoys work as a freelance writer, filmmaker and editor. She serves as Vice President.

Nora Lyons is the Director of U.S. Small Merchant marketing at American Express, Inc. She has worked in marketing for over 15 years at NYC startups and served in the U.S. Peace Corps working with children and families.

Lisa Loosemore is a long-time supporter of Stockings with Care. She is the owner of Viking Entertainment in New York City.

Karin Schall is a long-time Stockings with Care and First Day Supporter. She is the Manager of Special Events at Lincoln Center Theater.

Rita Sacchi has been a supporter and volunteer for the past 27 years. Has worked a s a Volunteer Fundraiser for various institutions, including Long Island College Hospital, The Brooklyn Museum and The Berkeley Carroll School in Park Slope, where she was a Trustee. She successfully chaired The Berkeley Carroll School Annual Auction for many years. After her children moved on, she received her Screenwriting Certificate at The New School, where 2 of her scripts received their Voice Over Award.

Jeff Kozel has been a fundraising co-chair for Stockings With Care since 2016. He is currently the Business Director at Dr. James Michael Muzzi Advanced & Cosmetic Dentistry. His background is in hospitality and meeting and incentive travel marketing.
